Sales Assistant (m/f), full-time

Your responsibilities:

  • Customer care
  • Preparing trade fairs and sales exhibitions
  • Compiling and evaluating statistics relating to the company’s sales figures
  • Customer inquiries and conduct of customer surveys
  • Assisting the sales organisation
  • Product searches, preparation of offers
  • Customer support and tracking of offers and activities
  • Recording incoming orders in CRM, allocating areas of responsibility
  • Establishing and maintaining partner programmes and relationships with suppliers (particularly Microsoft and HP)
  • Back office (switchboard, procurement of office materials, postal matters, fax centre, etc.)
  • Assisting in the acquisition of new customers, including preparation and follow-up work


Your profile:

  • Business fluency in a foreign language (German / English / French)
  • Experience with merchandise management software, Sage
  • Successfully completed commercial education or comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional assistantship experience
  • Reliable and structured work methods
  • A strong talent for organisation
  • Experience in the routine use of MS Office
  • A service-oriented, professional, and self-assured manner
  • Flexibility, commitment, and the ability to grasp things quickly
  • You should be communicative and able to work as part of a team but also be assertive and resistant to stress
  • In performing your duties you must negotiate with self-assurance the interfaces between customers, suppliers, and the various departments within MESTEC.
